Two-Vehicle Serious Injury Crash Near Buhl

TWIN FALLS COUNTY, IDAHO – Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle serious injury crash that occurred on Monday, September 28th, 2026, at approximately 6:40 p.m. westbound on US30 near mile post 198, west of Buhl, Idaho.

A Kubota RTV-X1100C, driven by a 70-year-old male from Buhl, Idaho, was travelling westbound on US30. A 2003 Mercedes Benz SL500, driven by a 37-year-old male from Buhl, Idaho, was traveling westbound on US30 when it rear ended the Kubota.

The driver of the Kubota was transported via air ambulance to a local hospital. The driver of the Mercedes Benz sustained minor injuries and was not transported. Neither driver was wearing a seatbelt.

The west and eastbound lanes were blocked for approximately five hours for emergency responders to assist those involved.

Idaho State Police was assisted by Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office, Buhl Police Department, Magic Valley Paramedics, and Idaho Transportation Department.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
