Single Vehicle Fatal Crash in Canyon County

Canyon County, ID – The Idaho State Police is investigating a single vehicle fatality crash that occurred on September 30, 2026, at 2:20 a.m., on Muller Drive between Park Hill Lane and Sunrise Lane in Caldwell.

A white 2024 Jeep Wrangler, driven by a 39-year-old male from Elgin, Texas, was eastbound on Muller Drive when the driver failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle went off the roadway where it overturned and caught fire. The driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash.

Muller Drive was blocked for approximately 5 hours.

The Idaho State Police was assisted by the Caldwell Police Department, The Caldwell Fire Department, Canyon County Paramedics, and the Canyon County Coroners Office.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
