Serious Injury Multi-Vehicle Crash in Heyburn

HEYBURN, ID- Idaho State Police is investigating a three-vehicle crash which occurred on October 15, 2026, at approximately 9:37 AM, on Interstate 84 at milepost 211, in Minidoka County.

A 23-year-old male from Redmond, Oregon, was traveling eastbound on Interstate 84, riding a 2021 Kawaski motorcycle. A 42-year-old male from Dingle, Idaho, was traveling eastbound on Interstate 84, driving a 2015 Ford F350 pickup pulling a 2012 Titan Trailer.  The rider of the motorcycle struck the trailer and crashed, then came to rest in the roadway. An unknown driver in an unknown description Semi-Truck, then struck the rider in the road and continued eastbound.

The rider was taken via air ambulance to a local hospital. The rider was wearing a helmet.

Eastbound traffic on Interstate 84 was blocked for approximately three hours.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
