****Correction on date and time of crash: May 25th, 2019 at approximately 9:32 p.m.****

On May 26, 2019 at approximately 9:32 p.m. a fatal crash occurred on Interstate 90 at milepost 51.7, Kellogg, Idaho. A red 2001 Toyota Echo driven by Ryan R. Rodriguez, 18, of Wallace, Idaho occupied by Colten A. Holzheu, 18, of Pinehurst, Idaho, Austin S. Mcintosh, 18, of Spokane, Washington, and Eric A. Hull, 20, of Smelterville, Idaho was traveling westbound when Rodriguez lost control of the vehicle striking the guardrail. Holzheu was ejected from the vehicle and was transported to Shoshone Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. Next of kin has been notified. Seatbelt information on occupants is unknown at this time. Investigation is ongoing.
