Date- Feb. 22, 2019- Distracted Driver ? 0800-1700, DUI 1700-0200

Sgt. Middleton?s team- 0800-1700

Sgt. Baldwin?s team- 1700-0200

Reason for Emphasis- Jazz Festival- High volume of vehicle traffic and foot traffic due to event

Violations that will be emphasized

1. Texting and driving

2. Fail to yield to pedestrians in crosswalks

3. Failing to signal or inappropriate lane changes

4. Speeding

5. Inattentive, reckless or careless driving

6. DUI-emphasis on Alcohol but also DHE due to high volume of out of state attendance and proximity to Washington
