On July 4, 2018 the Idaho State Police investigated a one vehicle, injury motorcycle crash. Mark L. Armstrong, 55 years old, of Alberton, Montana was traveling west on US12 at milepost 169.8 on his 2013 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a left curve, went on the right shoulder and hit gravel. Mr. Armstrong lost control of his motorcycle, struck a concrete barrier and was ejected. Mr. Armstrong was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was transported to St. Patrick's Hospital in Missoula, MT. The roadway was blocked for approximately 30 minutes while Life Flight landed.
