On Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at approximately 9:16 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle injury crash near the intersection of Sand Hollow Road and SE 4th Avenue in New Plymouth.
A juvenile was driving a 2016 Buick LaCrosse southbound on Sand Hollow Road. Blair D. Theuson, 59, of Rexburg, was driving a 2005 Kenworth northbound on Sand Hollow Road. The juvenile drove left of center and struck the semi head-on. The juvenile was transported by ground ambulance to St Luke's Fruitland Medical Plaza in Fruitland. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
Sand hollow Road was blocked for approximately 2 hours.
This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
