Jackson Man Charged with Two Counts of First Degree Murder in the Death of a Driggs Woman and her Unborn Child
DRIGGS – Investigators with the Idaho State
Police and the Teton County Sheriff’s Office have charged Erik Martin Ohlson,
39 of Jackson, Wyoming, with two counts of first degree murder in the death of
Jennifer S. Nalley, 39 of Driggs, and her unborn child.

Nalley’s body was found with multiple gunshot
wounds by family members on Tuesday, July 5th at her residence
outside of Driggs. Investigators
recovered a gun at the scene that is the same caliber used in the shooting.

Ohlson was in the custody of the Teton County
Sheriff prior to the discovery of Nalley’s body after he was involved in a
single vehicle crash at the intersection of West 2500 South and State Highway
33 in Driggs on Tuesday morning, approximately three miles from Nalley’s
residence. Nalley and Ohlson were known
to each other.

The Ada County Coroner’s Office performed an
autopsy at the request of the Teton County Coroner on Wednesday morning. The results of the autopsy are pending.

Ohlson was arraigned today in 7th
District Magistrate Court in Teton County and is being held without bond. A preliminary hearing was set by the court
for July 20th.

ongoing by the Teton County Sheriff’s Office and the Idaho State Police.
