On Friday, July 1, 2016, at approximately 2:17 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle crash westbound on I-84 at milepost 147, near Wendell, in Gooding County, ID.

A juvenile was driving a 2005 Ford Freestyle westbound on I-84. The juvenile attempted to pass a semi and lost control. The vehicle traveled through the median and rolled coming to rest on the north shoulder of the eastbound lanes.

A passenger, Eliza Wickard, 43, of Shelley, was transported by air ambulance, the driver and four other passengers were transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Magic Valley in Twin Falls. All occupants were wearing seatbelts.

One eastbound and one lane westbound lane was blocked for approximately an hour while crews worked to clear the scene.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
