On Wednesday, June 15th, 2016, at approximately 10:20 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle fatality rollover crash westbound I84 at milepost 187, east of Jerome. A 2011 Nissan Versa was traveling westbound, when the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled. The vehicle came to rest on 990 South Frontage Road. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to their injuries on scene. The passenger was transported by ground ambulance to Saint Luke's Magic Valley in Twin Falls.

It is unknown at this time if seatbelts were worn. There is no blockage involved in this crash. This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
