On Monday, May 02, 2016, at approximately 8:50 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a single-vehicle, non-injury crash on US-95 at milepost 145, in Adams County.
Steven Blehm, 57, of Lakewood, Colorado was driving northbound in a 2015 Peterbuilt semi tractor pulling a flatbed trailer with a shipping container. As the vehicle went around a corner the trailer went off the road partly into the barrow pit and tipped, coming to rest at an angle.
Blehm and his passenger, Deborah Blehm, 60, of Lakewood, Colorado, were wearing seatbelts. The road was blocked for commercial traffic for five and a half hours as crews worked to clear the scene. Passenger vehicles were diverted onto an alternate route.
The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
