On Tuesday, January 19th, at approximately 11:34 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 91 at milepost 121, north of Shelley, near the Bingham / Bonneville county line.

Donald Dayley, 54, of Idaho Falls, was driving southbound on U.S. Highway 91 near milepost 119 when he lost control of the vehicle, went off the road and collided with a power pole.

Dayley was transported by ground ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. Dayley was not wearing a seatbelt.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
