The Idaho State Police and the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of an airplane that had made an emergency landing, southbound SH97 near milepost 91. Scott J Morledge-Hampton, 52, of Billings, MT, was flying to Felts Field, Spokane from Billings, MT when his 1979 Beech V35B single engine airplane experienced engine failure and had to make an emergency landing. There were no injuries or damage done as a result of the landing and the plane was moved onto private property. The FAA has been advised of the situation.
