Blocking crash I90 near milepost 32
The Idaho State Police are investigating a vehicle collision that occurred at approximately 2:24 a.m. on May 10, 2026.
The driver of a Ryder box truck was traveling east on I-90 near milepost 32 (on the east side of 4th of July Pass) near Rose Lake, Kootenai County, when he failed to maintain his lane, struck the jersey barrier, and overturned, blocking the roadway.
The truck was occupied by a 47-year-old male from Reedsport, Oregon. He was transported to a nearby hospital by ground ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries. Eastbound traffic on I-90 was blocked for approximately four hours as emergency responders worked to assist the driver and clear the scene.
