INCIDENT NARRATIVE: Medley was northbound on SH3 at milepost 45.9, negotiating a left curve when he encountered multiple cows in the roadway. Medley was unable to avoid the cows and struck two of them. The tractor and trailer jackknifed in the roadway, blocking all lanes of travel. The roadway was blocked for approximately 4 hours.
