On Thursday, November 17, 2016, at approximately 9:18 p.m., Idaho State Police investigate a commercial vehicle crash on Interstate 84 near milepost 63, just west of the Blacks Creek Road exit.
Joshua Cushman, age 35, of Pocatello, was driving a 2015 International tractor pulling two trailers when he swerved to avoid colliding with another vehicle. Cushman's truck and trailers went off the road into the median where the truck and one of the trailers overturned.
Cushman was transported by ground ambulance to Saint Alphonsus in Boise. The left lane of westbound traffic was blocked for about two and a half hours while crews worked to clear the scene. The crash remains under investigation by ISP.
