On Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at 9:35 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a construction death. This happened near the intersection of SW 1st Ave and Plymouth Blvd, in New Plymouth. Samuel McMillen, 28, of Ontario, was operating a 1995 Mack dump truck. Rayden Dodson, 62, of Ontario, was performing maintenance near the rear of the vehicle and was struck by the dump truck. Dodson succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Next of kin have been notified.

This incident is still under investigation at this time.
