On March 2, 2019 at approximately 11:18 pm a fatal crash occurred on Nez Perce Drive at Perimeter Drive in Moscow, Idaho. A blue 2006 Ford Escape SUV driven by Ricardo Lopez, 24, of Mountain Home, Idaho was travelling westbound on Nez Perce Drive when he went off the right side of the road just prior to the intersection of Rayburn Street. Lopez overcorrected and crossed both lanes of travel causing his vehicle to roll off the left side of the road. Lopez was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene. He was not wearing his seatbelt. Next of kin has been notified. Moscow Police Department and Moscow Ambulance assisted with the incident.
