On Sunday, December 16, 2012, the Idaho State Police investigated a one vehicle rollover on US 30 near Fish Creek Summit. Craig Carey, 50 from Pocatello, was eastbound on US30 at mile marker 376, in a Pontiac Bonneville. Carey lost control on the the slick road, driving off the right shoulder. The Bonneville rolled down an embankment approximately 75 – 100 feet coming to rest on its top. Carey was transported to Caribou Memorial by Caribou EMS. He was wearing his seatbelt. The crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police.
