**Update**

On December 24, 2012, at approximately 4:15 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle crash on Interstate 15 near milepost 98. Brian Achenbach, 39 of Taylorsville, Utah, was southbound in a 2012 Freightliner semi pulling two trailers. Achenbach lost control, in part due to the speed he was travelling and the road conditions. He drove off the right shoulder of the roadway, causing the semi to tip onto its side.

The southbound right lane of I15 is still blocked as crews continue to work to clear the scene. An update will be sent when the lane has been cleared.

Idaho State Police is currently investigating a crash on Interstate 15 at milepost 98, near the Rose exit. The northbound right lane is blocked. Motorists are encouraged to use caution or an alternate route. More information will be released when it is available.
