On October 9, 2014, at approximately 12:00 p.m. Idaho State Police investigated a crash on State Highway 24 near the Minidoka County / Lincoln County border.
Joel Garcia Becerra, 45, of Hammett was stopped on State Highway 24 waiting to make a left hand turn, in a Kenworth semi with two trailers. Stephanie Kunzler, 43, of Paul was traveling behind Garcia Becerra in a 10-wheeler and failed to stop, striking his vehicle.
Garcia Becerra was transported by ground to Minidoka Memorial.
Kunzler was transported by ground to Cassia Regional Medical Center.

At this time, the Idaho State Police is investigating a crash on State Highway 24 at milepost 34, 2 miles from the Minidoka County / Lincoln County border. Both lanes of travel are blocked as a result of the crash, which involves a semi truck and a ten-wheel truck.
Motorists are encouraged to find a alternate route of travel or avoid the area if possible.
