On Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at approximately 7:25 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a property damage crash eastbound I-84 at Garrity, exit 38 in Nampa.
A 41 year of age male, of Nampa, was driving a 2003 Mack tow truck hauling a large piece of construction equipment. The driver lost control of the vehicle. The tow truck struck the right barrier, crossed the lanes, hitting the median barrier. The tow truck came to rest partially in the left westbound lane.
The driver was wearing a seatbelt.
The westbound left lane was blocked for five hours and forty-five minutes. The two left eastbound lanes were blocked for approximately seven hours.
This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
