Idaho State Police is investigating an injury crash which occurred on July 10, 2022, at 1:31 P.M. on SH51 at Airbase Road, in Elmore County.
A 56-year-old man from Emmett was traveling southbound on SH51 on a 1995 Harley Davidson motorcycle. The driver fell off the motorcycle while attempting to negotiate a turn. He was not wearing a helmet and was transported by air ambulance to a local hospital.
Both lanes of SH51 were blocked for one hour until the northbound lanes were reopened. The southbound lane was blocked for three hours. All lanes have reopened.
This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
