Idaho State Police is investigating a one-vehicle collision that occurred at 10:02 AM on November 12, 2022, on SH55 near milepost 137, in Valley County.

A 2015 Nissan Sentra drove off the right shoulder of the roadway and struck a power pole. The Nissan overturned and came to rest in a field. The 20-year-old male driver, from Caldwell, had to be extricated from the vehicle and was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance. He was wearing a seatbelt.

The roadway was blocked for four hours. Idaho State Police was assisted at the scene by Valley County Sheriff's Office and Donnelly Fire and EMS.
