On July 15, 2016, at approximately 3:50 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a crash on Interstate 15, near the Clark Street Exit in Pocatello, ID.

Kyle L. Jones, 23, of Pocatello, ID, was driving southbound in a 2008 Ford F350 pickup, pulling a 2002 trailer, with an excavator on it. Jones lost control of the vehicle, and rolled the pickup onto the right shoulder. The excavator came off of the trailer, but did not block any travel lanes.

Jackson G. Robertson, 21, of Pocatello, ID, was a passenger in the vehicle. Neither Jones nor Robertson were wearing seatbelts. Both subjects were transported by ground ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID.

The Idaho State Police is currently investigating a one vehicle injury crash on Interstate 15 at exit 69, the Clark Street exit, in Pocatello. The crash is located on the right shoulder of Interstate 15 and the beginning of the onramp. There is no blockage at this time. More information will be released once it becomes available.
