On Saturday March 1, 2014 at approximately 11:42 pm, the Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle crash on Rock Creek Road, at SH50, near Hansen. Jose A Cabral-Murillo, 27, of Murtaugh was northbound on Rock Creek Road in a 1998 Dodge Stratus when he struck an unknown object in the roadway. Cabral-Murillo's vehicle came to a stop in the northbound lane. Cabral-Murillo was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center. The crash is still under investigation.
