On March 5, 2020, at approximately 5:15 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle crash on US93 near milepost 51, just north of the Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Megan C. Irving, 24, of Gooding, Idaho was driving southbound on US93 in a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze. David J. Lewis, 22, of Idaho Falls, Idaho was driving behind Irving in a 2018 Jeep Renegade. Lewis failed to slow in traffic, and drove into the rear of Irving's vehicle.
Irving and Lewis were both wearing seatbelts.
Northbound and southbound lanes of US93 were blocked or partially blocked for approximately 50 minutes.
