On April 30, 2017, at approximately 11:11 pm, Denny A Baldwin (42 yoa of Spokane Valley, WA) was driving a 2005 Audi S4 westbound on Sand road at a high rate of speed. At the intersection of Sand road and West Sand road, Baldwin failed to negotiate the left hand curve, slid off the road and struck a fallen tree. Passengers Brandon Hall (34 yoa of Moscow, ID) and Chinell Pickler (23 yoa of Moscow, ID) were transported along with the driver to area hospitals. The road was blocked by emergency vehicles for several hours. The investigation of this crash continues by the Idaho State Police.
