On Thursday, August 20,2015, at approximately 12:47 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated an incident northbound on I15 at milepost 92, near Blackfoot. Kelly Kofoed, 53, of Blackoot ,was attempting to load an excavator onto a trailer when the unit slid off and rolled down an embankment. Kofoed was transported by ground ambulance to Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot.
