On Friday, June 5, 2020, at approximately 12:25 p.m. Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle, fatal crash at the intersection of Farmway Road and Ustick Road, in Caldwell.

Norma J. McJunkin, 88 of Caldwell, was driving west on Ustick Road in a 1999 Buick Le Sabre. Mcjunkin failed to yield at the intersection and was struck by a 2007 Kenworth dump truck that was travelling south on Farmway Raod, being driven by Douglas Adamson, 43, of Caldwell.

McJunkin was taken by ground ambulance to West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell where she succumbed to her injuries. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. Adamson was not transported.

This crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police
