Fatal Crash Coeur d’Alene River road milepost 13

On October 12, 2025 at approximately 0250, the Idaho State Police responded to a single vehicle crash in Shoshone County. A black Kia Sportage driven by a 24 year old female, from Post Falls, Idaho was traveling southbound on Coeur d’Alene River Road near mile marker 13. The Kia failed to negotiate a turn and went off the roadway where it overturned. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
