On Saturday September 19, 2015, the Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle crash on US20 at milepost 154, east of Fairfield in Camas County. At approximately 9:30 p.m., a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier, driven by Carina Garcia, 21, of Bremerton, WA, was headed westbound on US20, when she lost control of her vehicle, went off the road and overturned. Garcia was ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Garcia's passenger, Zachary Harmon, 23 of Port Orchard, WA, was transported by air ambulance to St Al's in Boise for treatment of his injuries. Both occupants were wearing their seatbelts. Next of Kin has been notified.
