INCIDENT NARRATIVE: Lee was traveling eastbound on Elmira road in his pickup when he failed to stop for the crossing at the Union Pacific railroad tracks and was struck by a northbound train on the passenger side. He was the only occupant of the vehicle and was flown to Kootenai Health where he succumbed to his injuries. Investigation is ongoing.
