Fatal Crash Highway 95 and Dufort Rd in Bonner County, ID

Idaho State Police are investigation a two-vehicle collision that occurred Monday, October 8th, 2025, at approximately 2:34 PM, on US95 at E Dufort Rd. 

A Dodge Dakota driven by a 60-year-old female and occupied by a 63-year-old male passenger attempted to cross US 95 and was struck by a Dodge Ram that was traveling northbound on US 95. The Dodge Ram was driven by a 65-year-old male who was wearing his seat belt. The occupants of the Dodge Dakota were not wearing seat belts, and the driver succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The passenger of the Dodge Dakota and the driver of the Dodge Ram were transported to the Local Hospital for their injuries. 

Next of kin has been notified.

The roadway was blocked for approximately 3 hours. 

The incident remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
