Fatal Crash in Payette County

Idaho State Police is investigating a one vehicle fatality crash that occurred at 10:17 a.m., October 12, 2024, at eastbound Interstate 84 near milepost 1, in Payette County.

A 54-year-old-female of Garden City, was driving a white 2014 Kia Sportage westbound. The vehicle went off the left shoulder, and rolled into the opposite lanes of travel where it came to rest. She was wearing a seatbelt.

The driver succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash.

All eastbound lanes of travel were blocked for approximately three hours.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
