INCIDENT NARRATIVE:
Wilkerson was Southbound on US95 when he struck a deer hitting it with his left front bumper. The deer continued into the oncoming travel lane where Kirk was Northbound and he also struck the deer and went into the ditch on the East side of the road . The roadway was blocked for approximately 3 hours. Kirk was deceased at the scene and next of kin has been notified. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
