Fatal Crash near Mountain Home

Mountain Home, Idaho – 

Idaho State Police is investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred on October 12, 2025, at approximately 10:50 p.m. near milepost 80 on Interstate 84 in Elmore County. 

A 46-year-old female of Nampa, was driving a 2000 Toyota Tacoma westbound. The vehicle departed the roadway, overturned, and came to rest in the eastbound lanes of the highway. 

The driver succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash.  A juvenile passenger was transported to an area hospital via air ambulance.

Both occupants were wearing seatbelts 

All lanes of travel were blocked for approximately 60 minutes.

The incident remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
