Fatal Crash Near Parma

CANYON COUNTY, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 7:03 P.M., on January 28th, 2025, on US95 at Highway 20-26, just north of Parma.

A 2014 Honda Civic, driven by a 24-year-old male with a 22-year-old passenger, from Nyssa, Oregon was traveling northbound on US95. A 2021 Toyota Rav 4, driven by a 25-year-old female from McLouth, Kansas, was traveling southbound on US95 when it collided with the Honda that was attempting to turn westbound on Highway 20-26.

The passenger of the Honda succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash. The driver was transported to a local hospital via ground ambulance. The driver of the Toyota self-transported by private vehicle to a hospital. All occupants were wearing seatbelts.

 The intersection of US95 at Highway 20-26 was blocked for approximately 4 hours.

The Idaho State Police was assisted by the Idaho Transportation Department, Canyon County Sheriff’s Department, Parma Medics, Payette County Sheriff’s Department and Payette County Paramedics.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
