On March 12, 2020, at approximately 08:47 am, Idaho State Police and Lewis County Sheriff's Office responded to a single vehicle crash on Gifford-Reubens Road, approximately one mile north of US 95, near Craigmont, Idaho. Randy Merrill, 60, of Lewiston, Idaho was traveling eastbound on Gifford-Reubens Road near milepost 25.4, when his vehicle left the roadway, rolled several times and came to rest in a field. Mr. Merrill was pronounced deceased at the scene. Next of kin has been notified. The crash is still under investigation.
