The Idaho State Police is investigating a pedestrian crash that occurred at 7:12 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, on Karcher Road near the intersection of Sundance Road, in Nampa.

A 46-year-old male driving a 2003 GMC Yukon was travelling westbound on Karcher Road and collided with a 64-year-old pedestrian.

The pedestrian succumbed to his injuries on scene. Next of kin has been notified.

The westbound lanes of travel on Karcher Road were blocked for approximately 3.5 hours.
