On December 3, 2017, at approximately 5:12pm, Idaho State Police investigated a fatal crash on Simco Road just south of I84.

Olga Ferguson, 51, was traveling northbound on Simco Road in a grey Acura MDX when she drove off the road crashing into a semi-trailer that was parked in a dirt lot off the roadway, coming to a rest in the adjacent field. The driver succumbed to her injuries at scene. Ferguson was wearing a seatbelt. Next of kin has been notified.

This crash is currently under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
