Fatal crash on US20 near Ucon

UCON, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a fatality crash that occurred on US20 near Ucon

Idaho State Police (ISP) is investigating a fatality crash that occurred at 4:52 p.m. on July 11, 2024, on US20 at mile marker 315 near Ucon. 

A white 2005 Honda CR-V was traveling westbound on US20.  The driver, a 64-year-old man from Rigby, left the highway into the median, before driving off the overpass where the vehicle came to rest on the roadway below.  He was wearing a seatbelt and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

ISP was assisted at the scene by Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office and EMS.
