On September 4th, 2021 an injury crash occurred South bound US95 at the 446 off ramp, 3 miles south of Athol. Robert K Den Hoed was riding his 2016 Harley Davidson

motorcycle exiting at mile post 446 off ramp when he failed to negotiate a right hand curve. Mr. Den Hoed went off the left side of the ramp and was ejected

into the gore portion of the roadway. He was not wearing a helmet. Mr. Den Hoed was transported to Kootenai Health and later died there September 11th. Next of kin has been notified and the investigation continues.
