INCIDENT NARRATIVE: Norton was traveling eastbound on SH5, 2 miles west of St Maries, when he swerved in front of a westbound logging truck driven by Gernert. Norton was pronounced deceased at the scene. The eastbound lane of SH5 was blocked for 3 hours.
