Idaho State Police is investigating a two- vehicle collision that occurred at approximately 1:41 PM on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, on US95 at mile marker 55 in Payette County.

A 38-year-old male from Homedale, was travelling northbound on US95 in a Chevrolet Silverado, where it crossed over the center line, colliding with a Kenworth semi-truck hauling a trailer that was travelling southbound. The semi-truck was being driven by a 45-year-old male from Grand View. The driver of the Silverado was deceased at scene. The driver of the semi-truck was wearing a seatbelt.

Traffic was blocked for approximately 8 hours to allow for law enforcement and emergency services to investigate and clear the scene.
