Fatal Motorcycle Crash on US95 Northwest of New Meadows

ADAMS COUNTY, IDAHO – Idaho State Police is investigating a motorcycle fatality crash that occurred on September 16^th, 2026, at 06:39 PM, Northbound on US95 at milepost 173.4 in Adams County.

A 2017 Harley-Davidson, driven by a 50-year-old male, from New Meadows, was traveling northbound on US95 when the driver failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle crossed left of center before leaving the roadway on the southbound shoulder, where the motorcycle crashed.

The 50-year-old male succumbed to his injuries on scene. The rider was not wearing a helmet.

The northbound lane of travel was blocked for approximately 5 hours.

Idaho State Police was assisted by New Meadows Fire and EMS, The Adams County Sheriff’s Office, and Adams County Coroner’s Office.
