On Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at 6:18 am, Idaho State Police investigated a one vehicle fatality crash westbound on I84 at mile marker 60.8, east of the Eisenman Exit.

Michael C. Trombley, 36, of Meridian, was traveling westbound on I84 in a 2003 Pontiac Vibe when we drifted off the roadway to the left. Trombley overcorrected and went off the right road edge where the vehicle rolled.

Trombley was transported by ground ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, where he succumbed to his injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt. Next of kin has been notified.

This crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
