On July 5th, 2022, at 5:02 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a single-vehicle fatality crash that occurred northbound Gifford-Reubens Road near milepost 1, in Nez Perce County, Idaho. A 19-year old female, from Lewiston, Idaho, was traveling northbound on Gifford-Reubens Road when the vehicle, a 2000 Honda Civic, left the northbound road edge, lost control, and rolled. The driver succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Nez Perce County Sheriff's Office, Nez Perce County Coroner, and Lewiston Ambulance assisted on scene. The roadway was closed for approximately 3-hours.

Next of kin has been notified. This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
