Fatality Crash Near Idaho Falls

BONNEVILLE COUNTY, ID – Idaho State Police is investigating a single vehicle fatality crash that occurred at 1:52pm on Saturday, April 12, 2025, on northbound Interstate 15 at milepost 114, just south of Idaho Falls.

A 2000 Mercury Cougar, occupied by two juveniles, was traveling northbound on I15 when it drove into the median, rolled, and landed in the southbound lane of travel.

The passenger was transported via ground ambulance to a local hospital. The driver succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Both occupants were wearing seatbelts.

Idaho State Police was assisted by Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, Idaho Falls Police Department, Bingham County Sheriff’s Office, and the Idaho Transportation Department.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
