Idaho State Police is investigating a fatality crash which occurred on July 21, 2022, at 2:52 P.M. on Sweet-Ola Highway at mile marker 3.5, in Gem County.

A 73-year-old man from Sweet was driving northbound on Sweet-Ola Highway on a 2020 Harley Davidson motorcycle. The driver failed to negotiate a curve, drove off the road, crossed the canal, and came to rest in a nearby pasture. He was wearing a helmet and succumbed to his injures at the scene of the crash.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
